The UK VAT Threshold From 1 April 2024, the threshold is £90,000 of VAT taxable turnover in any rolling 12 month period. Most Etsy sellers will never hit this — but if you do, you must register within 30 days. VAT on Etsy's Fees Etsy charges 20% UK VAT on its seller fees (transaction, listing, payment processing) unless you provide a valid VAT number in your shop settings.
